Kelly Trotz

SENIOR DESIGNER, UDCP

Kelly Trotz has been passionate about design since she was young, drawing on old blueprints that her mom would bring home from her job working with a builder. She began pursuing a degree in architecture, but quickly found her passion in interior design. She has an A.A.S degree from College of DuDage (COD), where she was recognized for multiple awards including the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) Charrette Competition, and she placed third in the ASID Design Summit student competition. During her final year at COD she held the office of president of the student chapter of NKBA. She has certificates in Lighting Design, and Kitchen and Bath. She has also achieved a professional certification for Universal Design, which aims to create the best possible living spaces for people of all abilities. Kelly loves to give back to her profession, educating new designers in vital computer programs as an instructor at the local college.

Kelly is a Senior Designer at Lifestyle Design, where her enthusiasm, keen eye for detail and amazing technical skills makes her an outstanding designer. She lives in Winfield, Illinois with her husband and three precious cats and enjoys spending time with friends. She draws inspiration from strolling through local French Markets and her travels abroad. Kelly also enjoys giving back to her community where she participates as an election judge, seasonally.

Kelly’s many design projects with Lifestyle are carefully curated and tailored to each clients’ needs, adhering to our goal of achieving form, function and beauty.
